Automotive Service Technician

Location : Fairfax, VA, 22030

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on Ford vehicles. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on Ford vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an automotive technology program or equivalent work experience
  • Ford certification preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
