Education Administration Associate

The Department of Education is looking for an Education Administration Associate to join the Food & Nutrition, Summer Food Service Program. This position gives you the opportunity to provide technical assistance and guidance to program sponsors, potential sponsors, and program staff, ensuring efficient operations. In this role, you will be working within the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Work involves reviewing and making recommendations for program procedures and policies, writing correspondence to sponsors, completing fiscal reports, as well as analyzing reports and claims for reimbursement. You will have the opportunity to provide in-depth technical assistance to prospective program participants, explaining proper procedures to apply for participation and advising sponsors of participation guidelines. You will also be responsible for conducting training sessions and workshops for Child Nutrition Program sponsors, interested agencies, program personnel, and food service vendors to ensure compliance with program regulations and objectives.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility Qualifications :
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :Two years of professional experience in education or educational administration;orAny equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements :You must meet the PA residency requirement.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements :This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.How to Apply :
