Weare looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll support our finance department by ensuring accurate record-keeping, helping with account reconciliations, and supporting day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Perform data entry of invoices, receipts, and payments
- Support bank and account reconciliations
- Help prepare financial reports and spreadsheets
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing
- Support other accounting tasks as needed
Requirements :
Proven experience or education in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related fieldFamiliarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, Excel)High attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and work independentlyStrong communication and time management skillsPreferred Qualifications :
Experience with payroll and / or tax preparationKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with accounts payable / receivable processingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas)Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepanciesFamiliarity with invoicing and billing softwarePrior experience working in a small business or startup environmentStrong problem-solving skills and adaptabilityCompany Description
