Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager $70-$85K) Direct Hire, t o lead our Quality Department and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 and IPC standards. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing inspection processes, customer documentation, calibration, and internal audits. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronics manufacturing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with production, engineering, and customers to uphold the highest standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily inspection activities and final inspection sign-off.
  • Manage and maintain ISO 9001 : 2015 compliance and internal audit schedule.
  • Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain calibration records, inspection documentation, and training logs.
  • Review and approve certificates of conformance and quality reports.
  • Communicate with customers regarding quality concerns, audits, and RMAs.
  • Work cross-functionally with production and engineering to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support quality training and IPC workmanship standards throughout the company.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quality management or supervisory experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 standards.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and documentation control.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Hands-on, collaborative approach with the ability to work on the floor when needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus).

    • Preferred

  • IPC or ASQ certifications (CQA, CQE, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with aerospace or defense industry requirements.
