This role is based in Southlake, TX and will encompass a wide range of responsibilities related to data entry organization, workflow management, and documentation coordination.
The right candidate will join the Client Relations Team, supporting compliance and operational functions.
The firm is seeking a results-driven, high performance professional with strong interpersonal skills and a forward-thinking mindset.
Previous industry exposure to Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Wealth Management, Broker Dealer, or Financial Services industries is preferred but not required.
To be successful in this role, this candidate must have the ability to thrive in an environment with lean operations, be proactive in their approach to roadblocks, and receptive of feedback from team members and managers.
Essential Functions :
- Manage documentation and filing of investor onboarding materials
- Manage investor database information, logging and tracking relevant data points for cross-team use
- Oversee data entry into companies' (CRM) program, secured online file storage systems, and various spreadsheets
- Finalize and circulate closing documentation to company investors following the acquisition of new investments
- Learn and keep up to date on compliance practices, FINRA / SEC requirements, and industry trends
Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience :
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, financial services, investor relations, private equity, or business development / business relationship management
- Advanced ability to utilize Excel with little oversight
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, Adobe, and Google Sheets
- Intermediate working knowledge of finance basics
- Notable interpersonal skills, including willingness to be coached and a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Marketing, or Communications is helpful
- Ability to focus under pressure, and comfortable meeting tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent critical reasoning, quantitative and analytical skills demonstrated by work experience and / or academic record
- Knowledge of and experience with CRM tools (ex : Juniper Square, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines across several projects with different managers
- Self-starter; able to identify "what's next" and make meaningful progress with little oversight or structure
