Meet the Team

The Digital Marketing Manager will manage Cisco's integrated multimedia efforts in creating and delivering innovative marketing strategies across multiple digital marketing channels, including paid and organic media, audio / visual marketing, event amplification, video advertising, and campaign launch efforts. This role is pivotal in driving customer engagement and retention, brand awareness, and new business growth.

Your Impact

Audience-Driven Content & Campaign Development

Guide the production of audience-specific assets across video, social, podcast, event, and paid media channels, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and brand alignment across touchpoints.

Partner with analytics and research teams to evaluate performance data, optimizing content and messaging frameworks based on real-time results and testing.

Translate audience insights-gleaned from data analytics, persona research, journey mapping, and industry trends-into actionable content strategies and integrated campaign concepts that drive engagement, education, and pipeline growth.

Lead development of creative briefs and campaign narratives that reflect a deep understanding of the customer's needs, pain points, decision-making processes, and preferred content formats.

Influencer Strategy & Management

Identify and vet relevant B2B tech influencers, creators, thought leaders, and podcast hosts who align with Cisco's brand, campaign goals, and audience trust signals.

Build and maintain relationships with influencers, from initial outreach and negotiations to briefing, approvals, and performance tracking.

Collaborate on co-created content such as podcasts, video segments, thought leadership pieces, and event collaborations, ensuring message control while supporting authentic engagement.

Oversee compliance, legal approvals, brand alignment, and measurement of influencer-led initiatives, ensuring ROI is tracked and optimized.

Cross-Functional Collaboration with Product Marketing

Partner closely with product marketing teams to understand key business outcomes and solution value propositions for priority products.

Develop content roadmaps and asset lists for various campaigns, informed by audience behavior, content consumption patterns, and digital channel performance data.

Create templates and messaging frameworks that enable product teams to efficiently build out content that supports campaign narratives across multimedia formats and various digital channels.

Ensure content promotion aligns with broader brand strategy and audience-centric messaging standards.

Podcasting & Video Advertising Expertise

Support the strategy, planning, and execution of branded podcast and video advertising initiatives-ensuring content is tailored to platform formats (e.g., YouTube, Spotify, LinkedIn Video) and audience intent.

Manage podcast editorial calendars, host selection, distribution strategy, and measurement of reach, engagement, and listener actions.

Collaborate with media and creative teams to develop engaging video content tailored for advertising, including pre-roll, native social, and programmatic placements.

Steward Cisco Security's YouTube content strategy, collaborating with both paid media and organic content teams to align objectives, messaging, and targeting. Lead all aspects of the planning, execution, and optimization of YouTube campaigns-ensuring content format, audience segmentation, and creative assets are tailored for performance. Project manage cross-functional collaboration to maintain a cohesive brand presence across paid and organic YouTube efforts.

Budget Management & Cross-Functional Leadership

Manage various budgets-including but not limited to influencer, media, content production, and agency costs-ensuring spend aligns with KPIs and delivers measurable return on investment.

Drive cross-team alignment through regular planning sessions, clear documentation, shared timelines, and collaborative goal setting with internal teams (product marketing, brand, paid media, digital, analytics, content) and external partners (agencies, vendors, influencers) to ensure seamless campaign execution.

Minimum Qualifications :

5-7 years of experience in integrated B2B / B2C marketing, ideally within the tech industry, managing cross-channel campaigns and multimedia content strategies.

Proven success in developing data-driven marketing concepts, managing influencer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Strong understanding of digital buyer journeys in B2B, including the role of content in ABM, demand generation, and thought leadership.

Proven track record of managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Expertise with marketing tools and platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, YouTube, Meta, Podcasting (Spotify / iHeart / Google), and Salesforce.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience in podcast content development and video advertising strategy, including creative direction and distribution planning.

Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder alignment skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives concurrently.

The starting salary range posted for this position is $118,000.00 to $148,700.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and / or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation

Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and / or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.

U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.

U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies :

10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees

1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco

Non-exempt employees

  • receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
  • Exempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)

    80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours ofunused sick timecarried forwardfrom one calendar yearto the next

    Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members

    Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer

    For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.

    Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows :

  • .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
  • 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

    1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and

    Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

    For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

    The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below :

    New York City Metro Area :

    $118,000.00 - $171,000.00

    Non-Metro New York state & Washington state :

    $110,000.00 - $159,400.00

  • For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.
