About the Role
The organization is looking for a passionate and driven Director of Alumni Engagement to lead the development and execution of an innovative alumni strategy that supports our long-term mission. In this vital role, you will maintain accurate alumni records, build a network of education equity champions, and be the primary liaison for regional and community partners eager to connect with our alumni talent pool. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing engaging alumni activities, planning events, forging strategic partnerships, and nurturing alumni relationships. Additionally, you will support regional alumni boards and participate in essential organizational stewardship activities.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in an education-centric role. You should possess a proven history in program design and execution, talent recruitment, and effective project management. Strong interpersonal communication skills, a track record of leading change-management initiatives, and a collaborative spirit are crucial for this position. Experience as a Teach For America corps member and established connections within the Metro Atlanta education landscape are highly desirable. This role demands adaptability, a positive team culture, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring every child has access to exceptional education.
