About the Role
The Financial Analysis Leader provides strategic financial leadership and oversight for a $900M division, managing core finance and accounting processes. This role acts as a key advisor to division leadership, driving financial performance, system improvements, and strategic initiatives that support profitable growth.
The Financial Analysis Leader partners across business units to strengthen controls, enhance reporting systems, and support compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley. This position manages a small, high-performing team and works closely with both domestic and international partners.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
- Maintain and refine division-wide financial systems and reporting tools (SAP FC, Power BI).
- Communicate operational and financial results to group, division, and corporate management.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses.Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve profitability.Provide financial insights and recommendations that support business decisions and strategic planning.Process Improvement & Compliance
Develop and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial systems.Establish guidelines and policies for divisional use and ensure compliance with corporate standards.Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to support outsourcing reviews and process optimization.Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance initiatives and internal audit requirements.Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals in the U.S. and the U.K.Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, business development, and corporate finance teams.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to align financial goals with overall business strategy.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or professional designation (CPA, CMA) preferred.10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.Strong understanding of financial systems, controls, and reporting processes.Experience with SAP FC and Power BI preferred.Proven ability to manage costs, implement process improvements, and influence strategic outcomes across multiple business units.Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.Compensation & Benefits
