Zachary Piper Solutions seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Specialist with a Secret (or higher) clearance to join a government contracting team in Virginia for a hybrid (1 day / week) work opportunity.
The Contracts Specialist will be supporting a CMO for Research and Development efforts.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, from negotiation to execution and closeout.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance and mitigate risks.
- Conduct thorough reviews of contract terms and conditions, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
- Interface with government agencies and other external partners to facilitate effective communication and resolution of contractual matters.
- Prepare and submit contract deliverables in accordance with established timelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contract management.
Requirements :
- Active Secret government security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract management with government contracts
- Experience using DoD, Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2) contractual software
- Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and other relevant procurement policies.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously

Experience with Non-FAR based instruments such as OTA, Grants, and Cooperative Agreements
Compensation :
Salary Range : $120,000 - $160,000 per year depending on experience
Location : Arlington, Virginia (1 day / week onsite)- near Ballston Metro stop
