Registered Dietitian Job Details

• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237 (Indiana healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Hospital Weight Loss Program
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Dietitian Contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 01/12/2026 - End: 04/13/2026)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• Hours per Week: 40 (Weekly guaranteed: 36)
• Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Not required
• EMR System: EPIC
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,580 - $1,700

Registered Dietitian Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, food service, community health, or related field
• Active Registered Dietitian (RD) license through State Licensing Board
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical or hospital setting
• Bariatric or weight management experience preferred
• Ability to adhere to hospital dress code (no open toe shoes, crop tops, shorts, sweats/stretch pants, or jeans)

Registered Dietitian Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nutritional counseling and support to patients in the hospital's weight loss program
• Create individualized nutrition plans and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes
• Document and manage patient information using EPIC EMR
• Complete orientation and required education modules prior to start date
