- Job Responsibilities
- Adherence to all laboratory SOPs, including BSL2 procedures
- Accurate and comprehensive documentation in LIMS / QA systems (GLP environment)
- Mammalian cell culture
- DNA and protein purification and characterization
- Set-up and analysis of bisulfite conversion experiments
- Set-up and analysis of qPCR assays
- Handling of human clinical samples
Experience Required
- 2+ year experience in cell / molecular biology laboratory environment (university or industry)
- Prior experience in BSL2 environment required
- Demonstrated expertise in cell culture
- Excellent attention to detail with an understanding of laboratory practices required
- Experience running qPCR assays preferred
- Experience developing qPCR assays preferred
- Comfort with troubleshooting qPCR assays preferred
- Experience implementing epigenetic assays preferred
- Experience with cancer diagnostics and related biomarkers preferred
Skills & Certifications
- Learning agility and timely execution of tasks required
- DNA isolation and QC required
