Finance and accounting Lead volunteer committee member

Jamsz Konnections is currently seeking to fulfill a Finance Committee member position reporting to the Executive Director. This is an unpaid position. Finance Committee member support a non-profit organization's fundraising or membership programs . Solicits and acknowledges donations and maintains donor records. Being a Development Coordinator may arrange and attend meetings with donors.

Job purpose and objectives

The purpose of this position is to manage finances of the organization and help the financial stability of the organization.

Essential functions / Job duties and responsibilities

• Track debits and credits for each month
• Manage all fiscal matters of the Organization
• Conduct monthly reconciliations
• Provide monthly financials during board meetings
• Provide annual budget to the board for approval
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are aligned with all current requirements
• Complete all other assignments as required by the Executive Director and / or Board.

The full scope of responsibilities will be determined based on the experience of the applicant, but will likely include working with Executive Director on :

Finance degree

Certified bookkeeping or accounting credentials
