Medical Office Credentialing
$16-18 Per Hour DOE
A major part of their role is working with patients, including but not limited to :
Ensuring that medical staff members' maintain current credentials and licenses to work legally in their field or specialty .
These specialists monitor upcoming renewal dates and work with medical staff to advise them of the required steps to maintain their credentials.
Another major duty of a front office medical assistant is managing the office. This typically includes :
- Organizing and ordering supplies for the office
- Answering phones
- Preparing reports for the office
- Replying to and by mail, email, or fax
- Operate office equipment
- Performing bookkeeping duties such as credits and collections.
- Preparing billing statements
- Handling the coding side of medical billing
- Filing claims on behalf of the practice
- Working with the insurance company to resolve questions and / or discrepancies.
Must have 3+ years working in a medical environment , familiar with medical terminology, and located in San Antonio. Apply immediately for consideration.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $16.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
