Credentialing Specialist
Job Purpose :
Johnson Venture Management Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive attitude.
This position will primarily focus on credentialing tasks related to healthcare providers.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Process and maintain healthcare providers' credentials in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor staff credentials and licenses to ensure compliance with contractual terms, Joint Commission Accreditation, and state regulations.
- Assist staff with renewal procedures as needed.
- Participate in developing internal credentialing procedures and maintaining accurate records of licenses, credentials, and insurance.
- Anticipate and address the needs of others to ensure a positive experience.
- Perform general office tasks including filing, generating reports, and other administrative duties.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of credentialing experience preferred.
- Background in healthcare preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check, including criminal history.
