Job description

Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist supports the full scope of HR operations with a strong emphasis on training, employee development, and onboarding. This role plays a key part in enhancing employee skills, ensuring consistent HR processes, and contributing to a positive and high-performing workplace culture. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and experienced in designing and delivering training content.

This is a full-time, salaried, in office position, located in Phoenix, Arizona. You are required to be in office Monday - Friday 8 : 30AM - 5 : 30PM local time.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Responsible for company-wide training programs, including onboarding, systems training, compliance modules.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify skills gaps and recommend training solutions.
  • Maintain and update all training materials, SOPs, and job aids to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Track and analyze training participation, feedback, and effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the creation and administration of Learning Management System (LMS) content.

HR Generalist Support

  • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Serve as the PHX onsite HR point of contact for employees, providing support on policies, benefits, time off, and HR systems.
  • Post jobs, screen resumes, and conduct initial phone interviews to identify qualified candidates.
  • Assist with compliance tasks such as I-9 audits, policy acknowledgment tracking, and state / federal reporting.
  • Support the coordination of employee events, recognition programs, and culture initiatives.
  • Office Manager Responsibilities (as part of HR Generalist Support)

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Manage office supplies, inventory, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and service requests with building management or external contractors.
  • Support meeting and event logistics, including room setups, catering, and visitor management.
  • Assist with mail, shipping, and general office communications.
  • Monitor and enforce office access procedures and security protocols.
  • Qualifications

  • 24 years of HR experience or a combination of HR and training roles.
  • Experience facilitating live and virtual training sessions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, MS Office Suite, and / or LMS platforms.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience organizing training materials (PowerPoints, guides, videos, SOPs).
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Compensation
