Overview

At Sacramento Rehabilitation Hospital , we are passionate about patient care! At our 50-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving the Greater Sacramento area. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

We are seeking a Unit Secretary to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications

Required Skills:

· One year of clerical or administrative assistant experience preferred.

· Two (2) years’ experience in health care setting preferred

· EKG certification preferred for positions including telemetry functions

· Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.

· Effective organizational and time management skills.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Must have high level interpersonal skills

· Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.

· Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

· Ability to maneuver within a medical record

· Ability to work on issues of a sensitive nature

Responsibilities

Performs the duties of a receptionist and assists with all the clerical duties on the patient unit. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.

Posted Total Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $21.14 to $27.50.

Maximum Salary

USD $26.22/Hr.
