Sactown Vet is a small animal hospital located in the heart of midtown Sacramento. We are looking for an awesome phone, text, and e-mail receptionist. You will be the go-to for clients to get all the information they need about their pet and our hospital. You will often be who the client meets first, so this position requires strong customer service skills. Additionally, this position requires that you manage some face-to-face interactions with clients: helping veterinary assistants/technicians with clients as needed, dealing with paperwork to provide to clients, and collecting medications and other things clients are picking up from the hospital.

Sactown Vet is a fear-free and cat friendly hospital, so the ability to perpetuate a calm, friendly environment is a must! Clients will also be able to move through the hospital with their pet (ie to the treatment area), so you must be comfortable interfacing with clients throughout the day. Veterinary experience is great, but not required if you have strong customer service skills.
