• Analyzes and interprets a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Assists in handling contract administration with clients and sub-consultants.
• Assists in the review and preparation of engineering agreements for projects.
• Assists Project, Design, and / or Office Managers as requested.
• Attends client and public meetings as necessary.
• Coordinates staff activities to ensure project budget, schedule, and quality goals are achieved.
• Ensures that project documents and files are organized.
• May assist in client invoicing and monitors outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on projects.
• May serve as an onsite project representative and / or provide construction observation duties in the field.
• May sign and seal assigned projects and project documents self-prepared or under direct supervision.
• Monitors work?in?process and assists in directing and / or supervising of the work of other engineers activities on projects.
• Prepares and presents technical information to colleagues and clients.
• Prepares complex design computations, plans, and related construction documents.
• Prepares complex quantity and cost estimates.
• Prepares complex reports, studies, and permits for various projects.
• Prepares engineering and design documents using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.
• Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents.

Infrastructure Engineering Inc. ( IEI ) Indianapolis office is looking for a Project Engineer - Civil to join our Team! As the Project Engineer, you will work with one of our Project Managers to develop design concepts incorporated into the final product.
