About The Position

Experience :

Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience required.

1 year of travel experience required.

Experience with Level 3 NICU and high-volume ER preferred.

Proficient experience with all treatment modalities required.

Must have prior NICU / pediatrics experience.

License :

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Certifications : BLS

ACLS

NRP

PALS

Must-Have :

Epic experience required.

Familiar with all modes of mechanical ventilation.

Experience with Nitric oxide delivery.

Experience with Servo I, V60, Nitric, 3100A, and 3100B.

Description :

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist with NICU and PICU experience.

Candidates must be able to work with adults as well.

The shift consists of four 12-hour days, from 7 AM to 7 PM, with every other weekend required.

Three 12-hour shifts may be available upon request.

Position offers up to 26 weeks available based on request.

Candidates need to have experience in aerosol setup, including mask and trach.

Experience in assisting with high-risk deliveries is crucial.

Knowledge of CPAP, BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and jet ventilation is required.

Candidates must be skilled in extubation and tracheostomy care / management.

Responsibilities include the interpretation of arterial blood gases and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms.

Experience in pediatric critical care and familiarity with various inhaled medications is needed.

Travelers must adhere to holiday work requirements as outlined.

Compliance documents are due before starts.

Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility will not be considered.
