IT Administrator

Overview

The IT Administrator is the first point of contact for users experiencing technical difficulties, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This position is responsible for providing essential front-line support, effectively diagnosing and resolving fundamental application issues, and troubleshooting a wide range of common technical problems to ensure minimal disruption for end-users.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for users, logging and addressing incoming IT support requests via various channels (e.g., phone, email, chat).
• Diagnose and resolve common software application problems, guided by established procedures and knowledge bases.
• Address a range of fundamental hardware and software issues, including connectivity problems, peripheral malfunctions, and account lockouts.
• Accurately document and escalate unresolved or more complex technical problems to higher-level IT support teams when necessary.
• Contribute to and utilize internal knowledge bases and support documentation to ensure efficient problem resolution and consistent service.
