As a Material Handler, you will operate a sit-down forklift to move large steel beams throughout the warehouse, load and unload trucks, and stage finished production in the shipping department. You will handle inventory both indoors and outdoors with a covered forklift, operate a five-ton forklift, and be responsible for picking and storing beams on shelving units.

Responsibilities :

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move large steel beams within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Stage finished production in the shipping department.
• Handle inventory both indoors and outdoors with a covered forklift.
• Operate a five-ton forklift, moving products weighing 5,000-10,000 lbs.
• Pick and store beams on shelving units using a forklift.

Work Environment :

The work environment is a job shop setting that is not climate-controlled, though it is not extremely hot. Employees are required to wear R&B uniforms, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule, working four 10-hour days, from 5 : 30am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
