What You Will Do :
The Insurance Patient Account Representative plays a crucial role in our team, acting as a key liaison between patients and our business office staff. In this position, you will handle incoming and outgoing communication with both patients and insurance companies to effectively resolve account balances. All activities will be carried out in accordance with our client policies and procedures. This role features a hybrid schedule, allowing you to work two days in the office and three days remotely.

- Conduct Account Reviews
- Manage Appeals & Denials
- Handle Medicare / Medicaid inquiries
- Perform Insurance Follow-up
- Deliver Customer Service
- Oversee Billing operations
- Utilize UB-04 forms
Duties & Responsibilities :
Address all business-related requests and correspondence from patients and insurance companies.Manage approximately 40 accounts per day effectively.Complete all assigned projects in a timely manner.Assist clients and patients with their needs and inquiries.Communicate any areas of concern or suggestions for improvement to management.Research and respond to all patient inquiries received via phone and mail.Update patient demographic information and initiate necessary account adjustments.Aim to resolve account balances to zero before accounts are sent to collections.What You Will Need :
High School Diploma / GED or three years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma / GED.0-2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, insurance, or revenue cycle operations.What Would Be Nice To Have :
At least one year of medical provider experience with UB04 forms and appeals / denials.Experience focused on hospital or EOB claims.Proficiency in a Windows environment and familiarity with desktop applications, including Word and Excel.The ability to initiate projects and work independently with minimal supervision.The annual salary for this position ranges from $42,000.00 to $70,000.00, with compensation decisions based on various factors such as experience, skills, and organizational needs.
