Finance and Accounting Intern

Overview

Location : Eagan, MN

Internship Dates : Full Time for approximately 12 weeks (May - August)

As a Finance and Accounting Intern, you will : Gain knowledge and understanding of the business through hands on activities, coaching, and projects. A few learning opportunities include :

• Assist in reconciling bank statements, general ledgers, and sub-ledgers to ensure accuracy.
• Basics of daily cash management.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts under supervision.
• Help track cash inflows and outflows, assisting with liquidity management in treasury functions.
• Assist in gathering data for budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Help ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Gain and understanding of management reporting and assist in the creation of reporting.
• Conduct basic financial analysis, such as trend analysis or cost-benefit evaluations, as directed.
