Machine Operator

They also perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions to supervisors.

Additionally, machine operators keep accurate records of performance and production, meet deadlines by minimizing downtime, and collaborate with team members to achieve goals. They handle materials, ensuring proper storage and disposal of scrap metal, and follow environmental guidelines. Ongoing training is essential for staying updated on new equipment and safety practices. Overall, they play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality steel production.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Must be proficient with precision gages and computers.
