Job Description
Analyzes, investigates and provides research supporting the needs of organization's financial planning. Analyzes, forecasts, models and provides financial, economic, and other data for management to make strategic and / or operational decisions.
Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position.
Data analyzed may include revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates.
Analyzes financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so that senior leaders can evaluate alternatives against the organization's business objectives.
Responsible for developing moderately complex-to-complex models, processes, workflows and solutions to a broad range of financial, health industry, and academic issues.
Provide technical financial advice to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
May serve as a primary contributor to business unit financial, clinical, and operational leadership in consulting on financial decision making regarding cost centers, programs, service lines, business plans, payors, etc.
May serves as a subject matter expert (SME) when identified as a resource required for projects and strategic requests; act as a key resource for financial and operational management, product line committees, operational improvement teams, and strategic initiatives.
May be responsible for financial analysis projects that range from medium to large in scope, risk and impact.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting and 4 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Budgeting, and / or Reimbursement.
