Job description

Description : WHAT WE’RE DOING

We specialize in Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) that provide advanced capabilities to serve the defense industry. Our RMS Training and Logistic Solutions (TLS) are designed to meet the unique needs of our customers, offering unparalleled performance, reliability, and versatility. We provide comprehensive support throughout the entire system lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance. With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are committed to delivering RMS solutions that exceed expectations and set new standards for performance and reliability.

THE WORK

  • Assemble cables / harnesses, mechanical electrical sub assemblies, and rack / console systems from raw components to finished, production ready units.
  • Interpret engineering data – read and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and BOMs to build parts accurately, even when detailed work instructions are unavailable.
  • Collaborate cross functionally – work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Production Control and Supervisors to identify and close design to manufacturing gaps, propose build strategy improvements, and ensure first time right production releases.
  • Perform all core assembly operations – wire stripping, crimping, soldering, potting, mechanical fit up, torque application, cable routing, and connector termination using the appropriate tools.
  • Troubleshoot in real time – assist manufacturing engineering in assembly, fit, or electrical issues on the spot, develop corrective actions, and implement fixes while maintaining workflow and documentation.
  • Drive continuous‑improvement – seek opportunities to simplify assembly steps, reduce cycle time, and enhance quality
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

WHO WE ARE

As a world-class manufacturing center, we've earned a global reputation for delivering innovative solutions that leverage the latest technologies. Our customers rely on us to provide products that ensure their safety and well-being, allowing them to return home to their loved ones every night.

We're committed to fostering a work environment that provides the necessary resources, inspiration, and focus to help you thrive. If you're a driven and persevering individual who is passionate about making a difference, we invite you to join our team in shaping a better tomorrow.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a seasoned assembler with hands‑on experience across cable / harness, mechanical‑electrical sub‑assemblies, and rack / console builds. Whether detailed work instructions exist or not, you can take raw parts and produce first‑time‑right assemblies, interpreting schematics, drawings, and BOMs. Your strong communication skills help communicate issues and collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality, industrial engineering and supervision to resolve design‑to‑manufacturing gaps before production. You are self‑directed, detail‑focused, and committed to rigorous quality and safety standards, while continuously looking for ways to simplify processes and improve cycle time. In short, you are the bridge between expert builder and are passionate about process verification, ensuring every assembly is production‑ready.

WHY JOIN US

By joining our team, you'll not only find a fulfilling career, but also have access to a wide range of benefits, including a competitive 401k plan, comprehensive health and dental insurance, and a flexible 4 / 10 work schedule that allows for a better balance between work and personal life.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 7+  years of hands‑on assembly experience covering cable / harnesses, mechanical‑electrical sub‑assemblies, and rack / console builds (any combination that demonstrates mastery across all three domains).
  • Proven ability to assemble to first‑time‑right standards without detailed work instructions.
  • Strong capability to interpret drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues on the floor in real time.
  • Desired Skills :

  • Commitment to rigorous quality, safety, and documentation practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Production Control and Supervisor teams.
  • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin's quality control procedures and guidelines
  • Experience working with Lockheed Martin or similar companies in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Advanced certifications such as IPC / WHMA‑A‑620, IPC‑A‑610, etc.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or comparable continuous‑improvement training.
  • Track record of creating or implementing process improvements for manufacturing & assembly processes.
  • Clearance Level : None
