Role Overview : Aeva is seeking to hire a talented and motivated Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer to join our EE Hardware Development Team. The EE HW team owns the design, build and bring-up of Aeva’s mixed-signal PCBs. As a V&V Hardware Engineer, you will be expected to perform a wide range of tasks in PCBA or sub-circuit bringup, characterization, verification, and validation.What you’ll be doing :

• Work closely with EE design engineers and other engineering teams to examine the individual PCBs, their function, and interconnections
• Simulation & hands-on characterization of a circuit, sub-circuit, PCBA, or system and articulating feedback in formal or informal design reviews.
• Partner with design leads to perform a variety of design verification & validation tasks
• May engage with CM’s or internal Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth roll-out in an NPI function
• Support EE team in backend design support including RMA, FA, and Customer interfacing

Salary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges are subject to change in the future.
