Responsibilities

Job Description:

Performs evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on devices used in the care and treatment of patients at UHS facilities. Meets all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education Graduation from a Technical School or 1 year in a Biomedical Engineering Technology Program, or equivalent experience, or biomedical related certification required. Experience Three months to one year of experience working in hospital Biomedical/Clinical Engineering department required.

Technical Skills Understanding of regulatory requirements of medical devices (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC, State, Local)

Other Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.
