Location : Flexible (U.S.-based)

Travel Required – All travel and lodging expenses fully covered

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated MEP Assistant Project Manager to join our team working on complex, cutting-edge projects across the Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing sectors. This is a traveling position — you can be based anywhere in the U.S. , as long as you’re open to going on-site as needed.

What You’ll Do :

  • Support the Project Manager in planning, execution, and financial tracking of active projects
  • Coordinate MEP systems through design, BIM, submittals, construction, and final commissioning
  • Assist with daily site activities , ensuring installation quality and alignment with specs
  • Interface with trade partners and vendors (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Low Voltage) from procurement through close-out
  • Handle tasks such as scheduling, reporting, invoicing, and managing change orders
  • Track progress and communicate delays or issues to the Project Manager and Superintendent
  • Support job start-up and close-out processes
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, engineers, subs, and suppliers
  • May be assigned to on-site roles at project locations

What You Should Bring :

  • Experience supporting construction projects, ideally in a general contractor or CM environment
  • Knowledge of MEP systems , especially low voltage (BMS, EPMS, SCADA, Fire Alarm, Security, Telecom)
  • Understanding of project lifecycles from precon to turnover
  • Comfort with field coordination and QA / QC for MEP installations
  • Willingness to travel frequently for site-based work (company-paid travel & lodging)
  • Ideal Background :

  • Experience in Advanced Tech, Pharma, Life Sciences , or Manufacturing projects
  • Prior work with BIM coordination and complex mechanical / electrical systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to work independently while supporting a larger team
