Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field. Proven experience in process safety management within the pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge and practical experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs). Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.). Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or similar are a plus.
We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and enhancing safety and environmental measures within our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new strategies and policies that uphold their commitment to excellence in process safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement process safety management strategies and policies.
- Conduct Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs) to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise and support to operational teams on process safety issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) teams to optimize safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
