Bloomberg is transforming the legal industry with a research platform focused on automation, analytics, and real-time answers. INDG provides fast access to legal content, analysis, practice tools, company information, and market intelligence through advanced search and analytics.

Our Team :

The Legal Data Analysis team develops and maintains Bloomberg's legal products, including Bloomberg Law (BLAW), Bloomberg Tax (BTAX), and Bloomberg Government (BGOV). Our team of former attorneys leverages legal expertise and understanding of workflows to support AI product development. We collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to create AI solutions that are accurate, intuitive, and valuable for legal, tax, and government professionals.

What's The Role?

As a Legal Data Analyst, you will apply litigation expertise in a dynamic setting and support Bloomberg Law's AI tools from a data perspective. You will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate data quality, test AI performance, and ensure product decisions align with user needs. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of legal workflows will influence our product quality and success.

Responsibilities :

• Apply litigation expertise to support technology-driven solutions
• Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and translate legal knowledge into inputs for AI models
• Develop, test, and refine prompts for large language models (LLMs) to generate accurate legal research outputs
• Evaluate model outputs, ensuring they meet legal and customer expectations
• Communicate complex legal concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range : $110,000 - $150,000 USD annually + benefits + bonus

Note : Salary varies based on location, experience, and skills. We offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, and wellness programs. Contingent workers and interns are not eligible for benefits.
