Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Platform

Morning Consult is a global decision intelligence company changing how modern leaders make smarter, faster, better decisions. The company pairs its proprietary high-frequency data with rigorous analysis to better inform decisions on what people think and how they will act. This role is available in any of our office locations (Washington, DC; New York, NY; Chicago, IL) or can be based remotely.

Morning Consult is seeking a highly experienced, strategic Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Platform to drive complex, high-value enterprise sales and accelerate our growth trajectory. This advanced role is ideal for a sales leader with a proven track record of exceeding quotas in SaaS, data, or market research environments, and who thrives in dynamic, ambiguous situations requiring creative solutions.

As a senior member of our SaaS Sales team, you will independently own and drive the full sales cycle for our most strategic opportunities, leveraging your expertise to influence key decision-makers and shape the future of our client relationships. You will also play a critical role in mentoring and developing less experienced team members, contributing to the overall success and culture of the team.

What You'll Be Working On :

  • Lead complex, high-value sales cycles with minimal oversight, including advanced Qualification, Discovery, and deal structuring for enterprise clients.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing relationships, often in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments.
  • Own top-of-funnel and full-cycle sales activitiesfrom prospecting and outreach to closingwhile setting the standard for best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Deliver compelling, customized platform demonstrations and thought leadership to C-level and executive stakeholders, leveraging deep product and industry knowledge.
  • Analyze complex client needs and market data to craft tailored solutions and proposals that align with both client objectives and Morning Consult's strategic goals.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and providing insights to inform business strategy.
  • Mentor and coach team members, sharing expertise, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Contribute to the development of sales methodologies and processes, helping to shape the future of the Business Development team.
  • Represent Morning Consult externally as a subject matter expert, building relationships with key industry leaders and partners.
  • Continuously improve through feedback and proactively share actionable insights to drive team and organizational improvement.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time in the Company's discretion.

About You and What You've Done :

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong record of closing complex deals in SaaS, data, or market research environments.
  • BS / BA or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and close high-value, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing, communications, data, or brand strategy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive and C-level audiences.
  • Familiarity with survey research and its methods (highly valued, but not required).
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and elevate team performance.
  • Experience contributing to the development of sales processes, methodologies, or best practices.
