About the Team

The Promotions team enables merchants to grow their businesses by delivering compelling, data-driven discounts to consumers. We build innovative promotional tools, automated campaigns to maximize merchant ROI, and merchandising of promotions within the DoorDash app. Our mission is to turn every promotion into a powerful engine for growth : accelerating success for merchants, delivering value to consumers, and fueling DoorDash’s marketplace.

About the Role

As the Head of Product for Promotions, you’ll lead a team of high performing PMs to rapidly scale our Promotions business. You’ll define the strategy that unifies ads and promotions into a seamless, high-performing system which drives meaningful merchant sales growth, while delivering real value to consumers.

Your work will be pivotal in improving the efficiency and profitability of promotions for both merchants and DoorDash. Beyond setting vision, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally across the company to build the platform capabilities that enable internal teams to launch innovative, data-driven campaigns that power marketplace growth at scale.

You’ll report directly to Vassili Samolis, Senior Director of Product, and work in a hybrid model that blends remote flexibility with in-person collaboration.

Lead the Future of Promotions : Set the vision and roadmap for how ads and promotions work in harmony to drive sustainable, measurable growth.

Drive AI-Powered Innovation : Expand adoption of our Smart Campaigns, helping merchants of all sizes launch intelligent, automated promotion strategies.

Deliver Value Across DoorDash’s Ecosystem : Balance merchant ROI, consumer savings, and DoorDash profitability by improving promotion incrementality and designing impactful new campaign types.

Build at Scale : Partner across Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and Sales to develop the core platform that powers promotional tools across the DoorDash ecosystem.

Own High-Visibility Impact : Lead company-wide initiatives and present key business insights directly to senior leadership.

You have 8+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years leading PM teams.

You have experience with Ads, Promotions, or Merchandising on consumer platforms and / or in high-scale marketplaces.

You combine strong, strategic thinking and operational execution, with a track record of shipping high-impact features.

You excel at cross-functional collaboration, and can influence and align stakeholders across a complex organization.

You are a clear communicator with strong analytical skills and experience leading executive-level reviews.

You have deep empathy for users and a passion for solving complex, real-world problems.

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

See below for paid time off details :

For salaried roles :

flexible paid time off / vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.

For hourly roles :

vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours / month if working 40 hours / week; about 3.4 hours / month if working 20 hours / week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours / month if working 40 hours / week; about 2.9 hours / month if working 20 hours / week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$231,200 - $340,000 USD
