Ascension Illinois is looking for an experienced Genearl Surgeon for our practice in Kankakee, IL.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Medical Group to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights :

• Ascension Saint Mary's Hospital is a level II adult and pediatric trauma center with da Vinci Robot.
• Excellent opportunity to enjoy Bread and Butter General Surgery with Trauma at one hospital & one clinic location.
• Candidates with 3 years or more of practice strongly preferred
• Call is shared within the group; 8 days per month
• Access to da Vinci robot

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

Physician MD / DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.

Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education :

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
