Job descriptionMinimum age : 21+ Required : C.O.P.E. Director National Camp School Card (training provided) Preferred : Documented Zip Line work experience Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening) Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 9 hours daily and ability to lift / move up to 70 pounds Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record , including height / weight guidelines Housing : 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform : Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours : 45-55 High emotional intelligence (such as self / social awareness and team dynamics) Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focus Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn / develop hard and soft skills Ability to connect with individuals from diverse age groups, maturity, and backgrounds

Position Overview
In cooperation with fellow Zip Ride Manager, is responsible for leading a large energetic group of seasonal tour guides and oversees the operation and management of the zip rides at The Summit.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and manage staff so that they have the knowledge to carry out a safe and fun program
- Responsible for all paperwork, logs, and inventory control for the program
- Monitor equipment and facility conditions and report and deficiencies to Aerial Director
- Participate in periodic performance evaluations of staff and in disciplinary actions
- Effectively maintain a training and practitioner experience portfolio
- Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
- Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
