About the Role
We’re looking for a visionary Executive Chef to join our founding team and help define the culinary DNA of Miramasa. You’ll lead menu creation, shape our kitchen culture, and bring Ayurvedic wisdom to life in a modern, scalable way — starting with our flagship Chicago location and growing from there.
What You’ll Do
Create and inspire : Design our signature menu and seasonal offerings — vibrant, balanced, and full of flavor.
Bridge tradition and innovation : Translate Ayurvedic principles into delicious, accessible dishes for a modern audience.
Build from the ground up : Establish kitchen systems, SOPs, and workflows for fast-fine service.
Champion ingredients : Source high-quality, sustainable, and nutrient-dense ingredients that reflect our wellness philosophy.
Collaborate with technology : Partner with our data and product teams to develop personalized meal recommendation tools.
Lead with heart : Hire, train, and mentor a passionate culinary team that thrives on creativity and purpose.
Who You Are :
A seasoned chef (5–10+ years) with experience in fast-casual, fine dining, or global fusion kitchens.
Deeply passionate about global cuisine , clean eating, and culinary innovation.
Both creative and operationally sharp — you love building systems that make artistry scalable.
Excited to join an early-stage concept and leave your mark on a growing brand.
Bonus : Knowledge of Ayurveda, nutrition, or holistic wellness .
