Assistant Superintendent Healthcare Construction

A respected and steadily growing general contractor focused on healthcare and institutional construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations. This role will be primarily site-based, assisting with both renovation and ground-up projects ranging from $1M to $25M.

We're looking for someone who understands the nuances of working in active healthcare environments, can maintain strong communication in the field, and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver high-quality projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Superintendent to manage day-to-day field activities, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
• Help enforce site safety, housekeeping, and compliance with project standards
• Perform regular quality checks to confirm work aligns with drawings, specifications, and infection control requirements (ICRA)
• Assist with project documentation including RFIs, logs, daily reports, and progress photos
• Support communication and coordination between the field team, project manager, design partners, and the client
• Participate in site meetings and help resolve field issues as they arise
