About this position :
The Nurse Scientist at JHACH is a doctoral-prepared nurse who provides leadership, consultation, supervision, and oversight in all aspects of nursing research to frontline staff at all levels throughout the JHACH academic health system.
The Director collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer / V.P. for Patient Care Services, the Nursing Inquiry Council, JHACH Quality Sub Council, JHACH Institutional Review Board (IRB) and shared governance councils to ensure an organizational culture that encourages, supports, and supervises the development of research and EBP, pursuit of funding as appropriate, the conduct of the research / EBP project, and dissemination of findings.

What you will bring :
PhD in Nursing (or Related Field) or DNP. Graduate degree in nursing,
education / leadership preferred. Certification as a Profession Developmental Specialist, or Certified Nurse Educator preferred.
- Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Provider.
- Five or more years of experience in nursing required. Four or more years of experience as a Nurse Researcher required. Principal investigator on externally funded research preferred.
