S-E-A is adding to our Dallas (Irving) team due to growth! The Business Development Representative opportunity is a career opportunity for a curious, driven professional with strong critical thinking skills. We are a forensic engineering firm who finds the "why : when things fail. Our staff largely consists of professional engineers who serve as subject matter experts. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our Texas staff, promoting company culture and driving increased project count and revenue for our Dallas region. When not on client sites, this role will have a frequent presence in the office. This is not a remote opportunity. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities :
- Promote and expand our service offerings with existing and new clients in our target markets of Insurance Companies, Law Firms and Manufacturers
- Responsible for increasing market share by proactively prospecting, pursuing and closing new business
- Serve as liaison on client communication and scheduling with technical staff
- Manage client relationships and engagements including addressing any client issues
- Develop and solidify long-term business relationships and partnerships
- Proactively seek new clients that align with our target customer profiles
- Attend industry trade shows and seminars
- Assist with integrating diverse personalities in a fast-paced environment
- Develop and execute a sales plan that results in new client revenues
- Build relationships with key decision-makers of targeted prospects
- Assist with addressing any client complaints or concerns
- Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback into job performance
- Regular and predictable presence at work
Position Requirements :
Bachelor's degreeMinimum of three (3) years of post-academic outside sales experience in a service industryMust have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, relationship management & time management skillsWillingness to travel regionally and nationwideProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and OutlookExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsPhysical Requirements :
