Responsibilities :

Achieve sales goals through generating new business and cross-selling existing customers.

Identify and qualify sales leads generated from a variety of sources.

Help protect customers by offering products that will meet their needs.

Serve your local community by helping them prepare for life’s uncertainties.

Educate prospective customers on how to protect their families and assets.

Provide a positive customer experience.

Provide expert insurance and financial advice to clients, offering them peace of mind and financial security.

Engage with the local community to build strong relationships and grow your client base.

Qualifications and skills required :

Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for small business ownership.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A desire to make a meaningful impact in your community.

Ability to obtain an insurance license with assistance from our team. (existing license is a plus!)

Previous employment in a sales representative role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers.

No insurance experience required.

Confident, motivated individual who works well independently.

Effective written, oral communication and presentation skills.

Highly driven, well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills.

Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.

Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base.

Able to multi-task, follow through and follow-up.

Charisma : Your interpersonal skills are second-to-none, and you’re able to apply market insights to identify and cultivate new clients, as well as tailor products and services to meet existing customers’ needs.

Relationship builder : Your focus is on the long game building strong relationships within local communities and organizations, while maintaining open lines of communication for future sales opportunities.

Education :

High School Degree with relevant sales experience
