Technician 2 HVAC or Power (Field)

Job description : You'll be based out of our Lake Charles (Sulphur) service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicleYou'll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travelPerform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and / or oil free air compressorsTroubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairsYou will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sitesRequired profile : High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experience4-7 years of experience working on power generators and / or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairsExperience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and / or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematicsBased on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical cardValid driver's licenseAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.Company description : We're a global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.
