Network Administrator

Job Description

The Network Administrator will be a hands-on, service-oriented IT professional responsible for the configuration, administration, and support of Cisco networking infrastructure as well as core systems and end-user technologies.

This role will spend the majority of time on Cisco networking, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless, while also supporting VMware, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco networking infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless, and Firepower firewalls.
• Perform network moves, adds, changes, and support projects such as a new colocation disaster recovery site.
• Provide Tier 1–2 helpdesk support for hardware, software, and user issues across the organization.
• Manage and support Microsoft 365, including account provisioning, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online (migration in process).
• Perform systems administration within a VMware and Windows Server environment, including Active Directory / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Maintain network and systems documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT leadership on new technology initiatives and best practices.
