Job Summary
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) / Clinical Assistant (CA) to join our dedicated clinical team. In this role, you'll work closely with our physicians to provide high-quality imaging that supports accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by providers.
- Position patients accurately and ensure high-quality imaging results.
- Protect patients, self, and others from radiation hazards following ALARA principles.
- Check image clarity and retake images as needed; distribute or transmit images to appropriate medical staff.
- Ensure all images are transferred to PACS prior to shutdown.
- Open and close the X-ray room daily and maintain readiness for operation.
- Burn X-ray discs for patient imaging upon request.
- Maintain, stock, and organize the X-ray room with necessary supplies.
- Monitor and report equipment issues promptly; perform routine maintenance checks.
- Assist with clinical flow during downtime and support other team members as needed.
- Uphold all OSHA and HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Responsibilities will also include supporting staff and providers as a Clinical Assistant (MA) when not performing x-rays to include.
- Rooming patients.
- Support imaging for ultrasound procedures.
- Stocking rooms with supplies.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required : State-registered Radiologic Technologist license.Preferred : 1+ year experience with EMR / EHR systems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and teamwork.Tools & Equipment
