Getting to Know the Opportunity :

The summer intern for the Voya IM Offshore Distribution Team is responsible for supporting the management and growth of the offshore sales business. You will have the opportunity to learn about our business as you prepare for a possible future career in financial services. This opportunity for Voya Investment Management is based in New York, NY, and you will be joining a unique team of five sales people focused on building the brand and presence of Voya IM in the offshore investment community.

The Contributions You'll Make :

We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn how UCITS, Mutual Fund, Separately Managed Accounts, and other investment solutions that are distributed through Financial Advisor Intermediaries. The ideal candidate will also be willing to work hard to understand the data that helps drive where we invest our selling efforts. The summer intern will be given the opportunity to help our sales team work more efficiently, and due to the dynamic nature of selling in this day and age, can expect job duties to change from day-to-day or week-to-week. Accordingly, we are seeking a candidate with a flexible attitude and a proactive mindset who is looking to benefit from the career development and mentorship that this internship and our sales force can offer. The intern will have the opportunity to acquire their Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) during their internship.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience :

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business or sales related field
• Strong analytical and organization skills
• Desire to learn the many aspects of a complex but important marketplace
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong teammate motivated to participate in and / or lead special projects
• Proficiency with MS Office and in learning new computer systems
• Ability to speak Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin is a plus
• Knows how to use Salesforce or Microsoft Teams
• Strong Excel skills

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and / or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based on the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. $23.00 / hr. USD
