Job Summary :
Reconciles, compiles, verifies and analyzes financial and operational data and prepares reports and analysis by performing the duties listed below. Communicates with customers and retail partners regarding returned checks to secure payment. Monitors Money Service Business transactions and assists retail partners to ensure company's compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Policies and Laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures. Develops and monitors treasury operational controlsDevelops and maintains strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure efficient treasury operations and optimized banking services. Monitors and forecasts daily cash flow and liquidity, preparing borrowing and repayment notices as needed to support financial planning. Provides assistance in all aspects of daily cash functions.Prepares quarterly and annual compliance certificates for the Company term loan and private placement financing. Supports all other credit agreement compliance.Prepares compliance certificates and supports credit agreement refinancing efforts, including lender and rating agency presentations.Participates in periodic credit agreement refinancing, including creating lender and credit rating agency presentations.Assists in monitoring and managing interest rate risk exposure through analysis of market data, scenario modeling, and support of hedging strategies.Works with BSM and vendors to coordinate maintenance of EFT transmission files and the programs and databases used for reconciliation as well as bank transmission files for financial posting to SAP.Analyzes interchange fees and payment types to assess financial impact and recommend improvements.Oversees compliance with government assistance programs (SNAP / WIC) and trains retail partners on related regulatory requirements.Assists in training retail partners on various legal requirements related to the following federal and state programs : anti-money laundering, WIC, and Food Stamps.Assists with requests and issues related to Retail Financial Services including Western Union, check cashing, money orders, and lottery.Serves as the Company's AML transaction monitor, coordinating with retail stores and compliance teams, reviewing audit results, and maintaining AML documentation. Reports findings to the AML Compliance Officer.Assists in ad-hoc analyses and presentations to support the needs of senior management.Serves as power user and primarily system tester for potential software enhancements involving payment services software applications and enhancements. Serves as system administrator and power user for treasury-related platforms, supporting software enhancements and testing payment services applications.Coordinates the gathering of information and completion of MSB Due Diligence requirements by financial institutions.Reconciles retail payments, updates collection systems, and supports check collection processes.Resolves treasury-related issues with vendors, financial institutions, and retail operations, including armored car service discrepancies.Assists with Treasury involvement in special projects or events as needed.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Intermediate knowledge of Electronic Payment processing applications and company cash management applications and tools.Intermediate knowledge of corporate banking, cash reporting, and bank statements.Intermediate knowledge of Excel spreadsheet applications.Intermediate knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.Intermediate knowledge of Check Collection applications.Intermediate knowledge of FinCEN rules for Money Service Businesses as they relate to the company.Intermediate mathematical skills.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word and other software applications as needed for job requirements.Ability to comprehend and interpret information.Ability to research information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.Ability to carry out routine written or oral instructions.Ability to show information in presentation or diagram form.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.Ability to review, analyze, comprehend, and prepare reports and business correspondence.Ability to collect data, interpret results, and make recommendations.Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form with company leaders, employees, customers and banks.Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.Education, Experience and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in related field from a four-year college or university and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and / or higher education required.Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.Physical Demands :
