Skyfri provides owners of solar power plants a complete digital platform that is built to automate operations, maintenance, and asset management. The company is backed by leading investors and has strong management with experience from building and listing renewable energy and technology companies. The team is also one of the most experienced within IPP, O&M, and asset management, having earlier overseen more than 3GW across Europe, Asia, and North America.

What you’ll be doing

As our  Vice President of Sales in the USA , you will be responsible for building and leading Skyfri’s commercial presence in North America. This is a high-impact role that combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution. You will be our first senior commercial leader on the ground in the U.S., tasked with developing and executing our go-to-market strategy, closing key deals, and building the foundation for long-term growth.

In this role, you will be

  • Own the end-to-end sales function across the U.S., from defining regional sales strategy to executing pipeline activities and securing contracts.
  • Drive new business development while managing and expanding relationships with utility-scale solar asset owners, IPPs, and O&M providers.
  • Translate Skyfri’s global commercial strategy into a localized approach tailored to the U.S. market.
  • Work hands-on to build and manage the sales funnel—conducting outreach, qualifying leads, running demos, and closing deals.
  • Set up and optimize sales operations, including CRM processes, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with global product and marketing teams to ensure market feedback influences roadmap and positioning.
  • Represent Skyfri at key U.S. industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Build and eventually lead a local sales team as market traction grows.

In addition, we need you to :

  • Be fluent in  English . Other languages are a plus.
  • Have 5+ years of  B2B sales experience , including experience in a leadership role, ideally within  cleantech, industrial SaaS, energy software, or SCADA / IoT-related industries .
  • Combine strong  strategic thinking  with a willingness to  roll up your sleeves  and execute day-to-day sales activities.
  • Have a proven track record of  driving sales from zero to scale  in a new region or market.
  • Understand the North American energy market, particularly commercial and industrial solar and digital infrastructure.
  • Thrive in high-growth environments with limited structure and high autonomy.
  • Be based in the U.S. and open to frequent travel across the region.
  • Be entrepreneurial, resilient, and deeply motivated by the mission of accelerating the energy transition.
