Typical Set, LLC Position : Software Engineer 2 (SE2510) Responsible for developing systems to translate cutting-edge machine learning into complex trading behaviors.

Touch areas as wide-ranging as machine learning, finance, and technology.

Lead and collaborate in diverse and engaging software work, including areas such as trading infrastructure, computing, data processing, and flexible model development pipelines.

Proactively engage in complex projects from start to finish, which includes gathering project requirements, translating them into a rational software design, reasoning effectively about supporting or dependent technologies, and communicating effectively with teammates.

Work directly with Senior Software Engineers and receive high-touch mentorship and coaching.

This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of related software development experience.

Must also have demonstrated experience with each of the following : 1) Implementing improvements to order management systems (OMS) for trading strategies; 2) Working with networks concepts like NAT or port forwarding in a containerized setting; 3) Using Go in the context of Kubernetes; 4) Designing and maintaining backend components written in python; and 5) Using SQL with a modern DB such as MySQL.

Will accept experience gained before, during, or after Masters program.

Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.

Salary : $161,637 to $200,00 / year.
