  • Professional Summary
  • The Provider Enrollment Specialist plays a critical role in

    ensuring healthcare providers are properly enrolled and credentialed with

    Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payors. This position requires a

    detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a solid

    understanding of healthcare insurance processes. The ideal candidate will have

    experience with CAQH, provider enrollment, and credentialing, and will be adept

    at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    • Key Responsibilities
    • Prepare and submit enrollment and re-enrollment applications for healthcare providers to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider records in internal databases and payer portals.
    • Track application statuses and follow up with payers to ensure timely processing and resolution.
    • Collaborate with providers and credentialing staff to gather necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies.
    • Monitor and manage re-credentialing and revalidation timelines to ensure uninterrupted provider participation.
    • Respond to inquiries from providers and internal departments regarding enrollment status and requirements.
    • Assist with audits and reporting related to provider enrollment and credentialing activities.
    • Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
    • 1-2 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or healthcare administration.
    • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance enrollment processes.
    • Proficiency with CAQH and payer portals.
    • Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Prior experience in healthcare or insurance industry required.
    • Pay and Benefits
    • The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 / hr.
