AWS Solutions Architect (SysOps)

Location : Remote, USA-based.

TekStream Solutions is seeking multiple Architects / Developers with a background in AWS and Cloud Development to join a growing Engineering Services team responsible for guiding multiple TekStream clients in their AWS implementations.

The Selected Architects will take part in the buildout of multiple internal offerings as well as lead client delivery efforts including developing proposed solutions and designing appropriate road maps.

Requirements :

• 10yrs+ of systems engineer experience with at least 5 years+ of AWS experience.
• Expertise with implementation of commercial-scale cloud systems leveraging IaaS, PaaS or SaaS infrastructure in AWS
• Experience with configuring AWS for Disaster Recovery services from on-premise applications
• Hands on experience with CloudEndure or similar DR toolsets
• Experience in Server Migrations and workloads to AWS
• Hands on experience with CloudEndure or similar toolsets
• Experience in Architecting AWS networks and applications for multi-account cloud configurations
• Experience in configuring AWS Control Tower and migrating existing AWS account structures to AWS Control Tower
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Ansible
• Experience in Container deployments with hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes Clusters
• Experience with CloudChekr, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, DataDog and creating Monitoring services for Cloud environments including serverless architecture.
• Experience with AWS EC2 and VPC configurations.
• Experience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalling concepts, with a specific focus on AWS networking
• Experience with leading functional requirements sessions, creating detailed technical specifications, and building test cases for new or modified projects.
• Must be self-starter and demonstrate experience in running delivery project teams
• Must be comfortable leading client discussions and proposing project / technical direction.
• Must have experience in estimating level of effort for AWS engagements
• Familiar with RedShift, EMR, Hadoop
