Job description

Facility in Columbus, OH seeking Epilepsy Neurology locums coverage Rates : $290 / hr The facility is seeking an Epilepsy Neurologist for inpatient call coverage. This role requires on-site inpatient coverage and call, including weekends. Remote EEG monitoring may be incorporated. Key Details

  • Ongoing
  • Hours : 7 a.m. 7 a.m. (24-hour call).
  • Practice Setting :
  • 95% inpatient care, 5% outpatient EEG review.
  • Average inpatient census : 8 patients / day.
  • Support Staff : 14 physicians, 3 APPs.
  • Trauma Level : Level II at Mount Carmel East.
  • Patient Demographic :
  • Adult : 90%
  • Pediatric : 10% (age 16+).
  • EMR System : EPIC.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Physically see all inpatients across the three hospital sites, including weekends.
  • Provide remote EEG monitoring (as requested).
  • Handle trauma-related cases as necessary (e.g., GSW, hypothermia).

    • Requirements

  • Certifications :
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Epilepsy REQUIRED (no exceptions).
  • BLS REQUIRED.
  • Licensure :
  • Active Ohio medical license REQUIRED (IMLC not accepted).
  • Other :
  • COVID-19 vaccination REQUIRED.
  • Clean malpractice history and background REQUIRED.
  • Local / drive-in candidates preferred.
